Up until recently the spambots only infested themselfs in the GD forum and the Terri Summers forum. Lately, they have stayed away from Terri's forum, though they still continue to attack the GD. But now they have started to appear in this forum (Charlie Laine's one)!
Not to worry, I will get rid of them all... I was just wondering why they have now started to spam here?! :(

Just noticed that since this thread started, two spam threads have turned up in Charlie's section. Normally I think 'how dare they invade Charlie's space!', but this time I had no choice but to laugh :p

Looks like Wonder Woman's victory was short-lived, well loads of them have appeared now, including one about World War I uniforms. Quite odd. And annoying.
And the spam seem only to keep increasing. :(

Have you ever tried spam? It's minging.
I've send a PM to the others. Hopefully they will do something about this. Right now, those damned spambots post about 50 spam-posts per day...at least... :(

Ok, the mass ammounts of SPAM are seriously pissing me off now. I don't know whether it is because Charlie doesn't come on here any more or what, but seriously, there has to be some way of stopping it. IP blocks, email verification, whatever. There has to be something, just before over half the page was filled with it.

We've taken action by putting an image confirmation in place when you register. In theory, the spambots shouldn't be able to get past this. That would just leave the human element of the spammers. :(

Hooray, hopefully that'll stop it.
If it carries on, I could always offer my services to clean it up, seeing as I come on here quite alot.

But I can handle the removal and stuff. Thing is, with all that spam around, it doesn't make this place too inviting for either the fans or the models. :(

Not only that, we ought to stay like gentlemen instead of sticking the board all the time. The maids don't even want to clean up anymore. Lol! :D
Nearing 24 hours, and still no spammers. I think it's working! :)

It's been almost a month, and no spam! :D
Unfortunately, its been over 3 months since Charlie posted here. I last heard from her just after Christmas (she e-mailed me)...it doesn't look like she's coming back :(

Unfortunately, its been over 3 months since Charlie posted here. I last heard from her just after Christmas (she e-mailed me)...it doesn't look like she's coming back :( There have been a few spam posts here. Most likely done be human aid. But it's been like 5 a week, instead of the 50 a day. :)
Unfortunately, Charlie is going through a difficult time in her personal life. Right now, her work as an (adult) model is not high on her priority list. Though she still seems to do what she can. I hope things will work out for the better soon for her and her family soon. But until they do,... :(
