Erm... I'll try to stay nice by saying the quality of the show was elevated because you were there. ;)

You were great, but the show itself should be on audio, not video. If you know what I mean.

We are in the process of getting a new studio to shoot it in =) Its alot of fun to do and I like the experience. Thanks for your feedback though, muah! XOXO It's not the decor I have a problem with. I don't want to come off like I'm full with envy or anything like that. But for the last 10 years or so, I have tried to break into tv as a presenter without succes. It irks me then to see a presentor on TV or any other visual media to disregard the basics of media training. One of which is not to "eat the mike" as they call it. Especially not when you are the anker of the show. Your face if the focus point for the viewer. Last thing you want to see is your face disappear behind the microphone, or have the sound envellop you because you have the mic too close to your mouth.

I must admit that I didn't watch everything, but I saw enough that in my opinion the focus of the interview was too loose. The atmosphere being loose is no problem. But if you are presenting or hosting an interview, it is your task to focus the attention to your guest. If you don't do that, you are going to lose your audience quick. It can work for radio, not for tv.

Now, I don't want to bad mouth the guy. There are a lot of "professionals" out there (both in the Netherlands as in the US) who don't know any better either. But that is just my honest opinion. Of course, I might look at it a bit differently than most. ;)

Hey Charlie,

It looks pretty fun and interesting. Will sure do to check out often the shows but only as long as you're there. :p

I agree with rtf that if you weren't there, the show wouldn't be as great as it is. The fact that you are sweet and enjoyful makes the show better so you really save the show by your presence. ;)

Not to mention that indeed, it should have been done like a radio station with audio rather than video. But that's only our opinion. :)

Haha, cool. No wonder I never heard of him. Hell, I didn't even know who Howard Stern was until you posted it on your blog when you were on his show. It turned out he's pretty damn famous too :P

I blame it on me being British ;)

I haven't actually seen the Howard Stern one, but then again I blame that on British TV. They should show it over all the crap we have to watch like Big Brother, Little Britain and anything with Russell Brand.

Wonder where I could find it.....

If it interests you, join up Sirius! It's a satellite radio where you can find different radio channels and shows. Howard Stern has his on it and uncensored. ;)
