I predict lockout .. probably 1-2 months and then a shortened season.

Unforunately, the lock out is necessary. I believe that a "cap" should be in place to keep things fair across the board for small and large markets.

It also does not many sense for a company to be paying out more than it is taking in ..

I bet that 90% of these players do not even touch 80% of their salary year after year.

Too many greedy bastard on hockey, that's why I don't watch hockey, i would rather watch NFL,CFL,etc.

Why would you want 50 million dollars. 5 to 10 millions of dollar would get me retire at age 25.

I agree with makaveli about the "cap" like NFL

yeah shame thats it is a lock out now! wont get to see the Penguins play this year :(
